At DHL, we handle huge volumes of Life Sciences and Healthcare shipments globally that require temperature control. This includes an array of goods such as vaccines, medicines for heart conditions, treatments for diabetes and much more. Any temperature excursion at any point throughout the delivery route has the potential to damage medicinal products. This could potentially have adverse life-threatening consequences or may lead to costly delays to time-critical operations.
Your task is to build a risk analysis solution model to help categorise the risk level of delivery routes. 3 years’ worth of shipment data will be provided. Criteria used to evaluate risk will be shared in advance.
This challenge can be pursued by teams of up to 4 participants, who must all be listed upon registration. At least 1 member (designated Team Leader) must attend the Hackathon in person at the appointed venue, and represent the team in the presentation and evaluation. Other team members may either attend the Hackathon in person, or collaborate remotely with the Team Leader. In any case, ALL members must sign the non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to access the dataset.
The hackathon will be conducted from 3 - 6 November 2017.
